TALENT DEVELOPMENT PATHWAY

Various age groups for boys and girls

The pathway from community football to academy football is a structured journey that involves several key stages and factors contributing to the development of young players. This pathway is essential for identifying, challenging and nurturing talent, ensuring that players receive the necessary support and training.

Our Talent Development Pathway provides opportunities for grassroots players who are looking to progress their development into the professional environment by offering a session where like minded players can come together to be challenged and progressed with the best opportunity to reach their full potential.

This session is is aimed at players who are playing at intermediate and advanced levels of grassroots football, and will provide a structured approach similar to Club Academy Scotland sessions. The Trust is working in partnership with Motherwell FC’s Club Academy Scotland academy (boys) and NextGen academy (girls) to establish a pathway for developing talent and providing opportunities to support the development of local football players.
