FESTIVE FRIENDS

With a tasty Christmas lunch and day out at Fir Park with companionship and Festive entertainment, or a hamper delivered to their doorstep, Festive Friends aims to tackle the loneliness and isolation faced by some of the most vulnerable people in our community at a time of year when they need our help the most.

The reality is when you don’t eat well and spend far too much time on your own you risk your physical and mental health.

Motherwell FC Community Trust works with partners and our local community to identify vulnerable or isolated individuals or groups. When identified, we reach out to these people and groups to understand how we can support them and understand their dietary requirements.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

  • DONATING: Support the fundraising campaigns we have throughout the year or donate appropriate foods and gifts that can be given to our beneficiaries.

  • FUNDRAISING: Take part in a fundraising challenge to help us raise the required funds to ensure Festive Friends can take place and support as many people as possible.

  • VOLUNTEERING: The support of volunteers at Festive Friends is a key part of its success, whether it be packing and delivering hampers or supporting the in person event at Fir Park.
