About The Trust

The aim of the Trust is to use the power of football and the brand name of Motherwell Football Club to motivate and inspire people and communities to change their lives for the better.

The Trust operates across Lanarkshire and works with people and communities of all ages living within areas of multiple deprivation or those affected by issues such as poor physical and mental health, unemployment, poor attainment, low engagement with physical activity and community safety.

We run over twenty different community grassroots football teams, football development centres at five locations, after-school care projects, health work and coach development projects.

Sponsorship Benefits

Each sponsorship lasts for 12 months and we can also offer the following benefits:

  • All sponsors will appear on our Sponsors page with a link to their own website.
  • All sponsors will be invited to a Motherwell FC fixture as guests of the Trust.
  • We thank each sponsor on our social media channels and link back to the sponsor's own social media accounts and/or website if they have one.
  • We have approximately 1100 followers on our main Twitter account and link to the Motherwell FC account which has over 31,000 followers.
  • If a sponsor wishes to post their own news story to promote their sponsorship (it's a fantastic good news story for a local business to be helping out a local sports charity), we will help with that in any way we can, i.e. a team photo shoot wearing the new kit, quotes from the Trust to thank the sponsor, etc.
